Article Date: 12 February 2019

We want to talk to anyone from a precision engineering background (turning and milling) who sees themself as a problem-solver and a forward thinker, capable of sharing ideas, imparting knowledge and motivating colleagues.

Do you have the talent, ability and determination to:

  • devise fixtures and work-holding for the manufacture of complex parts
  • competently use a CADCAM package
  • competently programme and set CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
  • create more efficient and innovative workholding for components manufactured in serial production
  • think of ways to utilise machine tools to their full potential, in order to reduce number of operations
  • work through problems, investigating solutions for quicker and more effective cycle times, in hard metals
  • engage with tooling suppliers to plan the right solution for every job
  • manage a paper trail and planning system to ensure that operators can easily follow your intended route of manufacture
  • reduce setup times and improve machine tool uptime
  • work as part of a team, lead by example, challenge the status quo and impart knowledge and best practise.
  • keep up-to-date with your field of expertise by reading trade press, Linkedin and youtube and keeping an eye on industry leaders

If you think you have what it takes to do all of the above, and you are interested in Industry 4.0 transformation please get in touch.

Of course we'd like a CV, but crucially we'd like to hear how you have made a difference in a manufacturing environment. We look forward to hearing from you.

We are calling for general expressions of interest, however we are not seeking assistance from any recruitment companies at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
