Bright Engineering cemented its position this July as a significant UK aerospace subcontractor by its attendance on the pavilion of Farnborough Aerospace Consortium. The company's Managing Director Jon Hoyle, and southern Sales Director Steve Amey were both in attendance and hosted meetings throughout the week. 

The show's organisers noted a footfall of 80,000 visitors at the show that was hosted just 37 weeks prior to Brexit, and the mood and willingness to do business can only be described as upbeat and buoyant! Military and civil delegations were reported to be up by 20% and visiting airline customers were said to be up by over 160% on previous years. 

Bright Engineering itself has seen its order book grow three-fold in the last 12 months and turnover has grown around 30%. The Lancashire subcontractor has been successful in expanding its aerospace and defence clientele to around 35% of turnover.
