about us

Bright Engineering has been supplying key customers in the Aerospace and Defence markets for over 20 years. We are excited by what we do and have adopted an Industry 4.0 Road Map!

Based in East Lancashire, in the heart of Lancashire's aerospace belt, the company operates a production facility manufacturing precision components and mechanical assemblies. Bright Engineering originally began life producing jigs and fixtures for the Aerospace Industry. Bright Engineering later moved into the Motorsport market, and has since developed long-term accounts in a variety of sectors including Semiconductors, Medical Devices, Oil & Gas and ATEX products and Commercial and Military Aerospace. Since that time, Bright Engineering has prospered almost entirely on word-of-mouth recommendation from customers who recognise high levels of service and quality.

Thanks to our excellent quality of service and continuous investment in the latest CNC Machines, Bright Engineering has been able to expand into challenging new markets and now supports customers from all over the UK, Ireland and the United States. Bright Engineering has significantly grown its presence in the Aerospace market by securing significant
contracts for the manufacture of Aircraft Seating components, for both
commercial and military aircraft as well as military lighting products for Land,
Air and Naval platforms.

As the business looks to an exciting future, we are most inspired to tailor
our business around big data, implementing Industry 4.0 techniques and
ideas that will help the business and its customers flourish. The vision is
to become a leading Smart Factory, bringing together the best of
connected data from machine monitoring, real-time customer
requirements and scheduling, live operational KPIs, colleague
activity, buildings and infrastructure.
